Creating a Snowflake User
This tutorial you will create a Snowflake system user to load data into Data Factory. When configuring Azure Data Factory to connect to Snowflake, it is recommended to create a dedicated Snowflake system user that has the necessary privileges to perform the required data integration tasks. This provides better security and control over data access, as it allows you to limit the user’s permissions to only what is required for the specific data integration tasks. Additionally, it is important to whitelist the user’s IP address and limit access to Azure Data Factory, especially when moving to production use cases, to ensure that the data is only accessed and manipulated by authorized personnel and processes.
